Mountain Buggy – New Zealand – sold worldwide- as of 2010 made in China

Mountain Buggy commenced operations in 1992 out of New Zealand with its unique and first of a kind All-Terrain Buggy for the average parent.

Although the company has now extended there product line,  their core products are still identifiable by their three wheel design, larger then normal wheels and tyres and sporty, yet rugged design.The brand is particularly favoured by active parents.

In September  2009, Mountain Buggy was bought by Phil & Ted’s, another New Zealand buggy manufacturer.At present, products are continuing to be sold under the Mountain Buggy brand.

Celebrity Mountain Buggy customers include Tiger Woods and Nicole Kidman.

 

Warranty Information*

Warranty generally applies against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.

Who to contact? Warranty or service queries should be made with your store of purchase. You will be required to show proof of purchase and they will inform you of next step. Products that are returned directly to manufacturer by customer will NOT be eligible for warranty.

Who is covered? Original purchaser buying the product from an authorised dealer in the same country as the purchaser. Proof of purchase is required.

What is covered? Workmanship or materials that are deemed faulty, providing the product has at all times been used in normal conditions in accordance with instructions, and has been properly maintained.

What is not covered? Second hand products, modified products, poorly maintained products, normal wear, fading and fabric cuts, improper use, abnormal use, not following instructions, child left unattended, excessive load, transport damage i.e. airline or freight damage.

Customer costs within warranty The customer is responsible for any inwards freight charge to return the product to the manufacturer or its representative for warranty and/or service.

Customer costs outside warranty Where proof of purchase is not provided or the product is outside of the one year warranty period, the manufacturer (or agent) reserves the right to charge a service fee and/or charge for parts replaced/repaired. A return freight charge may apply.
